My culinary journey started with my apprenticeship in a 1 Michelin Star restaurant in France (Brittany), in 1997. This led me to working in three 2 Michelin Stars restaurants (Paris, Brittany and Courchevel), and in another two 1 Michelin Star restaurants (Lyon and Paris). I moved in Australia in 2003 and in Brisbane 3 years later.

Private Chef has been operating since 2009, and I have worked in many kitchens, from Yamba (NSW) to Rocky… I love the opportunity to meet my customers, tailor their menu to their likes and dislikes. It is always a challenge to cook restaurant quality meals in a home kitchen, and getting first hand feedback is a great pleasure and reward in itself.

I also love the opportunity I have to share my passion for food, experience and knowledge during my private cooking lesson.

Beyond expectation!
We used Private Chef for a dinner party with eight people.
Pierre-Antoine was extremely professional and accommodating with menu options and suggestions to suit taste requirements, including wine selections to accompany the food.
The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations, the night was a huge success with all guests raving about the culinary experience.
I would absolutely recommend Private Chef to anyone and will be using their services again in the future.

We all had an amazing time on Saturday evening which was simply due to your exceptional talent. The food was sensational. Your attention to details was exceptional and just observing little moments of you in the kitchen was delightful. Watching the care, just in preparing the pastry for the Vol au Vents, was a treat. We can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful experience, including your company. And to walk out to a clean kitchen was a dream. Thank you for making our celebration week-end so memorable.
