We accept bank deposit, cash and Paypal payment. Using Paypal will induce a 3% fee to cover Paypal fees. Payment details and options will be discussed during the interview. A deposit of 50% is required to book the date, once menu has been agreed. For meal packages, the balance is due on the scheduled cooking day. For parties and corporate functions, balance of payment is required within 48h of completion of the event.
Once the menu and quote are accepted, we collect a 50% deposit upfront to secure the date. If you cancel within 10 days of your party, we will refund 75% of your deposit. Otherwise your deposit will be forfeited.
Last minute changes to menu
Private Chef reserves the right to change some of the menu items without notice. This need may arise while doing the grocery shopping if some of the produces are not available or their freshness isn’t satisfactory.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the informations that we collect about you ethically and lawfully and will always act to protect your information. Your privacy is important to us and we take this responsibility seriously. The two reasons we collect informations are for processing your order and to provide the best service possible. We will never give your contact details to third parties without your agreement. You can check the informations we hold about you by emailing us.
We will not charge any travelling fees within a 30kms radius of the CBD. Although we can cater for further locations, such travel will occur a fee depending on the distance.
